Karimunjawa Shots

Karimunjawa is located at Northern Java sea. It is close to Jepara regency, Central Java. The island is so exotic, clean, and beautiful. We can go snorkeling viewing the coral and fish at the shallow sea.

For one day trip to surrounding islands we can rent a boat starting from USD300.

There are so many beautiful beaches around. The water is clean and fish swimming around the coral.

You can also swim with sharks and turtles in Menjangan Besar island.

Kura-kura Ressort is an exotic place to stay. It is in remote and isolated private island. The bungalow starts from USD200 per night.

Mangrove is another asset of Karimunjawa island. It is so cool here.

Nevertheless, always be careful while traveling around the island... Edor snakes, the most poisonous snake of Karimunjawa sometimes walks around the path.

Marina Beach

Semarang has a uhm... weird beach... Yes... this is Marina beach, Hurray!!

During shooting time, I can spend sometime remembering her :P

Menjer Lake

Let's cruise the day on a bamboo boat on Menjer Lake :P

Enjoy traditional beverage of the surrounding area. It's not so hard like liquor but makes you crazy like us :D

We can also rent a real boat there for only USD3 for around 30 minutes.

Even, our producer loves to enjoy the pines around the lake :P

Crazy Shots

Well... you know... sometimes working this way is frustrating... we need to ease the pain a while =))

Public spaces are always interesting to catch special public behaviors.

After taking some shots from the pedestrian bridge we sometimes do things like this just to buy fresh water :P

Maybe because the night before I got too much drink with those funny people inviting us in their banquette.

Cultural Shots

Emblek Dhem is one of ancient cultural heritage depicting the war rehearsal of Jayabaya King of Kediri. It includes 22 war horse soldiers formations.

These masks I hold are the original masks of Wonosobo regency. They are used in Legger dance, a very famous mystical dance of the area.

You can also learn how to play such traditional music for the dance. I am hitting the Gendang.
